This course helped me understand the issues involved in providing technology in the school district. I developed a needs assessment which helped me see where our problem areas are in the district, and I had a chance to examine our district technology plan and then develop a plan of my own. I was amazed at how much work goes into a technology plan, and my admiration for our technology specialist increased as I saw how difficult her job can be.
