Reflection
PDA for Educators was one of the first technology courses
I took that centered on using something other than the standard computer in the classroom. This class was instrumental in
letting me see that there are many tools available for use in the classroom, and most technological innovations can be adapted
for classroom use. We learned about using the PDA for everything from scheduling and organizing records to having students
share research and ideas with one another. The ability to exchange data from one PDA to another was one of the highlighted
features during the class. Unfortunately, I have not been able to persuade my district to incorporate PDA's in the classroom
at this time, but I'm still hopeful that there will come a time in the future when we can use this type of technology with
our students.
